ABOUT Jungle Hut

Established in 1986, Jungle Hut is a family-run estate spanning across 20-acres nestled at the foothills of the Nilgiris. Amidst verdant surroundings this 16 room property has cozy cottages with verandas that offer breathtaking views. With no television, no telephones and no music in the rooms you can hear the true sounds of the jungle coming alive at night-the sounds that Corbett wrote fondly about.The 3 categories of the rooms are standard Non Ac,Standard Ac and the Deluxe Ac. It is common to find herds of wild deer, sheep and ducks within the property. Trekking and birding in the vicinity and the organized safaris in the National Park are some of the exciting recreational activities on offer for the daredevils among guests. For a more laidback holiday you can relax in the pool with a panoramic view of the Nilgiri hills or cuddle up with a book from their library. Indoor games such as table tennis, carom, scrabble and chess are also available. Jungle Hut caters delicious Asian and Continental buffet meals with a home cooked feel.

  • 30 days prior to commencement of tour, cancellation fee, 10 percent
  • 29 to 15 days prior to commencement of tour, cancellation fee, 50 percent
  • No refund for cancellation with less than 15 days
